Catching Moments
The fool regards magic moments as a birthright and blames others when the magic is gone forever.
The unexpected, totally unplanned moments in life that cause the heart to hope again and the mind to endeavour to capture and freeze frame the moment, to be used as inspiration.
These positive traumas are the reason we endure hardships—to experience magic again.
Nothing lasts forever, good or bad. It’s the transient nature of life. It’s a river always moving forward.
We jump in and get off somewhere along its path, having experienced life through pain and joy. Reminiscing surprises now long gone.
This temporary nature of life fills me with pain, agony and sadness. Yet being stuck in an everlasting hell for all eternity is unfathomable. We daydream being stuck in eternal bliss, maybe because it is where we came from. We gave that up to experience variety.
This physical body though is ailing from all this variety. It feels like all this wear and tear is not going to make the journey.
Is this true? It seems that if I believe it to be true, it certainly is. There are examples in this world of quite the opposite.
This magnificent life with its ups and downs is not over yet, and since I don’t know when it will be over, I want to make the most of this experience.
